Duca designs and manufactures new coreless induction furnace coils ranging from 100 pounds to 65 tons capacity. Duca will also rebuild or upgrade your coil to eliminate inherent design problems.
The coil pictured is a new Duca 4000 kW, 16 ton studless coil. This type of coil was designed to replace coils with stud boards. Not only does the studless coil draw more power with the same number of turns, but the melt rate at the same power level is higher. Also note the absence of the troublesome reverse wound stainless steel cooling coils. Elimination of the stud boards not only decreases coil problems but reduces rebuild costs.

Pictured is a new Duca 8 ton, 7000 kW, 600 hertz coreless inductor furnace. This furnace is a maintenance friendly, open frame furnace design equipped with rear slagging.
